Centenial Give Away
This week I gained my 100th Google Friend Connect Follower and decided to celebrate by giving away at least 100 batik 5" friendship squares. To share the love, I'd like to do that as 12 squares to 9 lucky winners, anywhere in the world. All you have to do is leave a comment with the color range that you would like to receive. Most of my stash is pink, purple, blue & green...but I have some orange & yellow as well as a few pastels and browns. I'd love to hear what you'd do with the winnings as well. Non-blogging Lurker Friends (i.e. Emily, Michelle, Diann, JoAnne) can also win by sending the same info in an email. Be sure that you entry includes a way to contact you, otherwise it will be re-gifted. Give Away Closes April 7.

ReplyDeleteI like anything blue/green. I would probably make a fun wall hanging for my studio. Or maybe a gift for my friend's studio. Or lord only knows where they might end up. I get big ideas and then poof they are gone. LOL
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100! I'm a follower and I'd love to share some of your lovely fabric. I love all the colors for applique, but right now my #1 pick is green. All greens.
ReplyDeleteOh can I be in too please - and surprise, surprise, I like purple, maybe with some acid greens - now what I'd do with them - I fancy trying some dancing squares on a wonky strip/s with maybe a complimenting wonky strip down one or two sides and set of on maybe a black or charcoal grey background
ReplyDeleteAh, naughty me - I forgot to congratulate you - well done on getting 100+ followers
ReplyDeleteCongrats, I like the pink, blues, or purples, surprise me if I win.
ReplyDeleteMy batik stash is sadly lacking in pinks and purples. I am trying to collect enough batiks to make an applique quilt. Thanks for the opportunity to enter you giveaway. Congrats on reaching 100 followers!!
ReplyDeleteI would pick pink or orange. I am doing a block of the month with my guild this year, and each block is scrappy and semi monochrome, so I would use them for one of the blocks.
ReplyDeleteI would love the green or pink! I would use these in a quilt I am doing entirely out of batik fabrics.....thank you for the chance to win some.....
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy with anything leftover. I see the next weekly contest on the Bloggers quilting gallery is applique. You should post something there so I can go vote for you. Congrats on all those followers. That makes them winners already!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice idea. I would love some red/green to make some rug mugs for Presents. Thanks, love you blog. Helen
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice idea! I am a green fabric person...always thinking of those leaves to applique.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks!
What fun. You turned me on to batiks, so I have to thank you. What a great chance again.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 100!!!
Great giveaway. Love your blog. My preference would be blue or purple, but anything would be great.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on reaching 100 followers, Marjorie! I don't like pink and purple so my batik stash buying consists of all the others colors besides pink and purple. So, pink and purple would be good ones to add to my stash from your stash.
ReplyDeleteHi from Europe !
ReplyDeleteI found your blog just yesterday. I´m in love with blue and green and blue-green, like the sea. We have no sea in our country ...
Your colors just sing, in a cheerful, happy melody! I'd love to have any of them, no matter the color. I'm planning a quilt for my sister-in-law, the focal fabric being a batik with multi-hued sea turtles swimming in a red-violet sea. The colors you've posted would be perfect with it.

ReplyDeleteI love batiks - and if I win I would love some yellow and oranges. I am planning to make some pillows with appliqued flowers on a fantastic piece of Java-batik I've found in a secondhand-store.
Great blog!
Greetings from Copenhagen :-)
Pink! I would love to use it to make some applique flowers.. :)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I would love anything BUT purple or pink. Probably blue/green but orange, yellow would be fine.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what I would make as I have never owned batiks. Probably hexagons though. thanks.
Congrats on your 100+ followers. I am now one of them.
ReplyDeleteI would love some bright and happy colour and I'd use to make my blocks for SWAP. Good way to promote my winnings.

Congratulations on reaching such a huge milestone. My favorite colors would fall in the blue / green and purple ranges. Thank you for such a thoughtful giveaway. I want to learn to applique - did one very small block in a QAL yet it wasn't according to directions. Thanks for the encouragement you provide with your blog.
ReplyDeletePurples would be my favorite! Congratulations on your followers!
ReplyDeleteI like pastels colours. I would sew them into bean bags, hats if possible and make dolls clothes with them!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100 followers! I like blue and green. Love using colorful batiks to appliqué on black and white pieced background. Thanks for the chance, hesabella(at)gmail(dot)com

100 followers is quite a complement to a great blog--Congratulations! Your batiks all look lovely. My favorite colors would be anything clear and brightly colored. I would likely "sneak" them into anything I can--a bit here and then to liven up a quilt, or use them to make some brightly colored houses.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100 followers. :) I was sent over her from Stray Stitches. If I won, I would love any blues and greens of batiks. If you have any with turtle prints, that would be nice too. I think I am going to make a quilt for a friend who loves turtles out of charms of batiks. Thanks for the giveaway!

I would like pinks or greens or some mixture. I'm making a scrappy quilt in those colors (sorority colors) and would love to have more variety.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on surpassing 100 followers! I like blues & greens. I would like to make a wall hanging or quilt with batiks, this would get me going! Thanks for a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy friend Diann entered by email. She says "I saw your give away and thought just for fun I should let you know that I would like blue - green colors. I never win but I mainly wanted to let you know I love the cat even if it has a big butt!
ReplyDeleteMaybe use in a block for the Rose of Sharon if I ever get around to it.
ReplyDeleteBatiks are so pretty, I'd be happy with any of them. I might put them to good use making pincushions or sachets.
